Sierra Private Care LLC was founded in 2026 — but the care behind it goes back much further than that.
How We Started
Born from personal experience, driven by purpose
Ruth "Lute" Nai has been a private caregiver since 2014, when she first began caring for her own grandmother. That experience — learning firsthand what families really need in moments of illness, aging, and recovery — shaped everything that came after.
Lute built Sierra Private Care to be the answer she had been searching for. From day one, the mission has been simple: treat every client the way you would want your own loved one treated — with patience, dignity, and real human connection.
Today, Lute leads a growing team of caregivers — including family who share her commitment to treating clients like our own — serving families across the Sierra Nevada region, Reno, Sparks & Washoe County.

Lute founded Sierra Private Care after spending years as a family caregiver herself. She knows firsthand how hard it is to find trustworthy, compassionate help — and built this company to be the answer she wished she'd had.
